• just like fresh flowers, these stems are fragile and can break if dropped or bent, so please handle them with extra care so you can enjoy them forever

• ​choose from several stem designs and select your favorite blank blooms

• for the best results + the most "bang for your buck," use acrylic dual brush-tip paint pens - they have two colors per pen and the brush tip allows you to access the tighter spots. amazon has great options!

• the stems will come with a protective tape on the back. you can use it as a barrier while you paint the other side, you can use it as a background and paint over it, or you can gently remove it. to remove, place the stem white-side-down on a flat surface and gently peel the tape from the top down. be careful not to put uneven pressure on the stem, as it may snap

​

• ​one aspect that makes these flowers different from others is their ability to be re-invented. If you decide to go a different direction down the road, you can gently remove the paint using a non-abrasive cloth and nail polish remover, then soak them in soap and water to clean and restart. it really is a gift that keeps on giving! 

​

• optional: if you love your new painted petals and you want extra protection, you can spray them with a clear glossy varnish to seal the paint. spray one side at a time and let it dry for a few hours before spraying the other side. my favorite varnish is the krylon triple-thick clear glaze spray - also available on amazon.
